Access Control Engineer (Client side)

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £60k alongside an extensive corporate benefits package

Hours: Monday to Friday.

This is a tremendous opportunity to work client side with a global corporate organisation. You will provide maintenance support for a range of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms). You will oversee install projects, work closely with vendors, configure security systems and provide technical expertise to the business.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Prior experience of install/maintenance or commissioning of security systems (CCTV etc)
• A background in security systems engineering with hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Able to manage small security systems projects

The role:

• Responsible for providing first line support for security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms)
• Oversee the delivery of security systems projects
• Commissioning and configuration of security systems
• Carry out risk assessments
• Work closely with vendors
• Carry out work to British standards
• Carry out preventative maintenance
• Develop project plans
• Carry out site surveys
• Compile reports on site visits
• Identify new technology that could be implemented
