Operations Manager
Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Salary: £45,000
Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. (8am – 7pm)

A top 20 national security provider is looking to appoint a talented people manager to oversee their delivery of mobile Vehicle patrol services. This is a key role in the effective management of mobile teams and services. You will be integral to the success of this business as you ensure a smooth delivery of services across the region.

The role will focus on leading a team responsible for mobile vehicle patrols and alarm response.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Prior experience leading a team
• Prior security industry experience is not essential if you have experience leading teams in the transport, logistics or similar industry.
• Strong operational leadership capability
• Process driven
• Adept at building relationships with front-line staff

Responsibilities:

• Leadership of a small team
• Operational planning
• Vehicle management
• Planning routes
• Implementation of processes and procedures
• Strive to improve service delivery in line with client SLA’s / KPI’s
• Overseeing the effective Scheduling of staff
• Forward planning of staff rota’s
• Ensure a robust process in covering blow outs and staff absences
• Assist with the recruitment and interviewing of staff
• Co-ordinate staff inductions and training
• Collate and administer annual leave requests
• Respond effectively to additional staffing requests
• Regularly updating the company scheduling system
• Respond to situations in a professional manner
• Attend client meetings
• Communicate effectively with site managers
